In addition to the benefits of solid brass construction, the Studio Paintbox has many useful features such as a generous thumb ring, secure snap closure, travel bag and a removable stainless steel paint pan tray fitted with empty interchangeable full or half pans. The pans are standard size and can be filled with your choice of paints or replaced with commercially available pre-filled pans.  The paints in the photo are for illustration only, no paints are included. There is also a space in the box for storage of a travel paintbrush.

The Studio Paintbox is constructed of 0.5 mm (24 gauge) brass, with solid brass hinges. The interior is primed and finished with durable white polymer.  With time and use, the brass finish will develop a warm bronze patina.  If you wish to maintain the bright finish, you may do so with a soft cloth and mild metal polish.

The Studio Paintbox  measures 3.8 x 5.5 x 1.4  inches  (96.5 x 140 x 36 mm), and weighs 15.8 ounces (449 grams).  It will hold 16 full-size or 28 half pans. When opened fully, it measures 10.5 x 11 inches  (266.7 x 279.4mm).
